Corvo is a young, and surprisingly decient, mercenary-for-hire, who runs across the summoner Kashe while on a job. He quickly comes to her aid when his employer tries to kill him, and then summons a giant creature to attack the city. He stands bravely and buys Kashe enough time to summon a creature of her own to counter it. The event ties the two together for a journey that would shake both their destinies.
