Lillian's brother and also a boarder at the Mimori house. Ian is very interested in agriculture and gardening and spent the summer working on the Koshino farm. He is near sighted and because he sometimes squints he can look very intimidating however he has a kind nature and helps to share the workload of looking after the younger kids with Shima. He attends high school.
