Lewin is a headstrong young student at the Gaius School. Lewin has already shown promise as a swordsman, but he most wants to join the wizardry classes, even though he's convinced that he lacks the magical sensitivity to do so. Shunned by most of his classmates because of his humble background and quick temper, Lewin feels like a misfit in this magical school, and he often wonders why he was ever accepted into Gaius in the first place.
