Hiroshi lives in an apartment complex right next door to Yamamoto, a fellow university student. He notes that Yamamoto seems to be visited often by a strange, unkempt-looking woman, who shows up at his apartment despite never being allowed inside. After asking to use Hiroshi's phone to call Yamamoto, the woman (who introduces herself as "Sachiko") begins contacting Hiroshi more and more.
