The protagonist of Infinite Stratos. He is a first year student at the IS academy. His older sister, Chifuyu, is a legendary IS pilot. The siblings were abandoned by their parents at a young age and Ichika was raised by his sister thereafter. Ichika has a habit of personally assessing the situation with interior monologues as well as being easily out-guessed about his tactics.
