The protagonist of both the one shot and serialization of Kurogane, his name (meaning iron) is contradictory to his frail wire-like body. He was born with good eyes, capable of seeing quickly and clearly, but his body is incompatible with physical activity. And it is thus that he finds he can not live up to his wish to become a hero, until he meets Sayuri.
