The 16-year-old main character of the story who struggles with the huge debt left by his father. As a child, he was highly sensitive and looked like a girl. He is anti-social with his classmates and is often bullied by a jealous trio. He can be sympathetic but he regrets ever helping the troublesome Riene, the main girl character.
