Roy first appears in the manga in chapter 2. He is Arngrim's younger brother. Weak from birth with a lame leg, it explains Arngrim's career choice as a mercenary, acting responsible for Roy's well-being and comfort. The brothers live together, but do not seem to get along. Arngrim fails to understand Roy's love of painting, while Roy disapproves of his brother's murdering of people for money.
