Takafumi is Tomoyo s younger brother. Just when Tomoyo s family is about to break apart, Takafumi attempted suicide in hope of reconciling the family. After he is hospitalized, Tomoyo s family reunite again for the sake of their family. He enters the same school as Tomoya one year later. He plays as a secondary character in Clannad s sequel Tomoyo After: It s a Wonderful Life.
