Tamako Maeda is a female Japanese writer, her pen name and real name are the same. Tamako is born in Ureshino City (Saga Prefecture) on the 15th October 1965 and graduated from Saga prefectural Kashima High School. Her debut was in 1988 with the book Uchuu ni fuku kaze shiroi tori (宇宙に吹く風 白い鳥) at Shueisha Cobalt Bunko. She mainly writes for Cobalt Bunko but also has books published at other outlets such as Sneakerbunko.
