Synopsis

Ann Kobayashi, an eighth-grade girl living in a provincial city who partakes in a basketball club, has a hypersensitive and self-conscious preference for gathering tragic and memorable newspaper articles about murders, suicides, and accidents involving mass deaths, and is fascinated by photo collections of decadent dolls. One day, Ann witnesses the bizarre behaviour of her classmate, a boy named Tokugawa.
