双血の墓碑銘
The end of the Edo period. It was vampires who forced Japan to open its borders to the outside world.
The year is 1853. Japan is in the midst of a turbulent period as it is forced to open its borders to the Western world, which is ruled by vampires. Hayato, a former member of the Shinsengumi, nearly loses his life when his comrades betray him. By chance, a vampire girl named Hearse, who has no memory of her own, appears on the scene. Hayato vows to take revenge even if it means forsaking his human identity, and chooses to become her servant.
At the same time, heroes from Europe and the United States gathered in pursuit of Hearse. Each of them manipulates their own unique bloody epitaphs and hunts down Hayato and Hearse. In addition, the story begins to take an unexpected turn when peculiar characters such as Soji Okita and John Manjiro appear one after another in front of the two.
Can Hayato get his revenge? Who exactly is the hearse? This blood-curdling tale of the Bakumatsu Restoration begins here!
