Synopsis
Because of her unlucky golden eyes, Feine is offered up as a sacrifice to the gods. However, just before she is about to be drowned in a fountain, she catches the eye of King Sieghart of the Stichtites, who takes her home as his bride. Sieghart, who seems incapable of real love, asks her to become his wife and bear his child in exchange for her life. Feine becomes attracted to Sieghart, who treats her tenderly, but she hides her true feelings so as not to become a burden to him…
