The book is a comprehensive look at Akemi's life as a manga artist, from paying off the loan on her 150 million yen home purchased during the bubble era, life after her first hit series Junjou Crazy Fruits, her freelance days after she quit her exclusive contract and was constantly pressed by deadlines, to the drawing techniques for her many beautiful illustrations!
