Synopsis
Kosuke Miyamoto, a freshman member of the Kendo Club at Tokyo Metropolitan Eichi High School, is more interested in the sword than in girls. On his sixteenth birthday, Kosuke unexpectedly got matched up against Shintaro Minami, the former captain of the club and a third-year student, and lost out for a spot in the team competition. However, Minami, who is one of the most talented fighters in the country, sees in Kosuke a talent with the sword, and decides to send him to the tournament anyway.
